Larry Nault, a Member of the Early Christian Community makes the following statement relative to the reports below:

"The whole focus of my studies is on Prevention.  Effective Treatment has only a dim prospect and is at least a decade away, and a cure many years beyond that.

Prevention, on the other hand, is well within our grasp with an assortment of cardiovascular medicines and specific function nutritional supplements to lower the risk, by degrees, that just might make the disease shrink as a national financial burden and a personal tragedy.  This is especially so where family history reveals, and blood testing can confirm higher (from 3 to 10 time the normal) risk.  In these instances persons wishing to lower their risk can try combinations of the agents to assess their tolerance for the agents. Epidemiological studies all demonstrate Time and Persistence to be a requirement."

More information on Alzheimer's Disease may be found at http://www.alzforum.org/

He offers this Disclaimer:

Larry asks you to please Note: " I am not a physician.. Anybody who is concerned with their own risk should consult their doctor before undertaking any prevention approaches.  Most importantly the careful and periodic assessment through blood assays and other medical check-ups with professional medical guidance is absolutely necessary".
