A PRAYER FOR LIGHTING A CANDLE
O loving God, may this candle I light remind You to be with me
in my difficulties and decisions.
May this candle be a flame for You to warm my heart towards my
family, my neighbors and all those you may place
in my path this day.
Through the prayers of Mary, virgin and mother and Joseph, her
spouse, I place in your care those for whom I
came to this sacred place to remember ….
I cannot stay long here with You, Loving God; so I light this
candle as an offering of myself and a reminder
of my love and trust in You.
