Born: July 22, 1917
Went Home to God: November, 22, 2009
Home Town: Buffalo, New York.
Home Parish: Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary
Family Life: Son of the late Frank and Laura Quinn. His three brother's,
Francis, Thomas and Joseph, and one sister Margaret have all passed away.
Education: Graduated from Diocesan H.S. Preparatory Seminary in 1935.
Attended two years of college in Holy Trinity, completed college and
first year of Theology at Catholic University, Washington, D.C.
Final three years of Theology completed at Discalced Carmelite Seminary
Washington. Received Doctorate in Canon Law from Catholic University 1949.
Religious Life: Entered Trinity Missions Novitiate on September 7,1935.
Professed Perpetual vows September 8, 1939,Ordained May 18, 1944. |

Missionary Assignments |
| Professor of Canon Law and Moral Theology at Holy Trinity
Mission Seminary for 18 years and for eight years was also Rector of the
Seminary.
Served twelve years on the General Council, then was elected Superior General
for two six year terms [1967-1979]. In 1980,assigned to the Shrine of
Saint Joseph, Stirling, N.J. |
Father Quinn was a priest for more than 65 years and the first in his
order to reach that wonderful milestone.
Through all those years, he touched
many, many lives. He was a very special Priest and man. The Shrine community
will miss you.
