In the last months of Father Stephen's life he was blessed with meeting John Lloyd, an occasional visitor to the Shrine, especially the Crucifix in the grotto. John was also blessed in attending the Mass at the celebration of Father's 65th Anniversary. He heard Father speak and realized that he wanted to be part of the Church. Father instructed John. On the first Sunday in November the process culminated in John receiving First Communion and Confirmation from Father Stephen. The pictures above are of that ceremony.
