DIRECTIONS TO TRINITY HOUSE
1292 LONG HILL ROAD, STIRLING NJ 07980
FROM INTERSTATE 78 WEST:
 |
Take Exit 40 (Plainfields,
Watchung, Gillette) |
|
|
At end of exit
ramp, make right hand turn onto RT 531 |
|
|
Follow 531 to the
blinking red light |
|
|
Proceed straight,
bearing slightly to the left to follow the road |
|
|
Follow 531 to the
traffic signal (intersection with RT 512) |
|
|
Go straight
through traffic light and follow 531 across the railroad
tracks, around curves, first left and then right, and then
ascend the hill |
|
|
At the top of the
hill, turn left on Long Hill Road |
|
|
Follow along Long
Hill Road for about 0.45 miles |
|
|
Trinity House
entrance is marked on the right hand side
|
FROM INTERSTATE 287 SOUTH:
|
|
Take Exit 30 A
(North Maple Avenue, Basking Ridge) |
|
|
Once you exit,
pass the Yield Sign and stay on this road, N. Maple |
|
|
You will pass one
light, then you will come to a fork in the road, bear to the
left fork, following signs for SOUTH MAPLE AVENUE |
|
|
When you reach the
blinking light and STOP sign (about 2 miles down the road)
DO NOT MAKE ANY TURNS, just follow the main road which bears
to the left |
|
|
this road has
become LONG HILL ROAD |
|
|
At the first stop
sign, you will see TRINITY HOUSE on the left |
FROM INTERSTATE 80 WEST:
|
|
Exit 43 A (I 287
South, toward Morristown) |
|
|
Follow directions
for I 287 South, (above) |
|
|
FROM INTERSTATE 287
NORTH
|
|
|
Take EXIT for
INTERSTATE 78 EAST (toward NYC & Newark) |
|
|
On I 78 East, take
Exit 36, make a left at the end of the exit ramp |
|
|
Go approximately
1.3 miles, turn RIGHT onto VALLEY ROAD (ROUTE 512) |
|
|
Follow 512 for 2.2
miles |
|
|
At stoplight, turn
LEFT onto MAIN STREET |
|
|
Follow MAIN STREET
across the railroad tracks, continue straight and ascend the
steep hill |
|
|
At the top of the
hill is LONG HILL ROAD |
|
|
Turn RIGHT on LONG
HILL ROAD, TRINITY HOUSE is on left |
FROM INTERSTATE 78 EAST
|
|
Take Exit 36,
(Basking Ridge, Warrensville, County Road 651) |
|
|
At the top of the
exit ramp, go LEFT on to ROUTE 651 for about 3 miles |
|
|
When ROUTE 651
goes off to the left, you will see a Church on your right.
Take the right lane and go to ROUTE 512, VALLEY ROAD (from
the Church you will be going around something like a
horseshoe and take a slight RIGHT) |

Follow 512 for 2.2
miles |
|
|
At stoplight, turn
LEFT onto MAIN STREET |
|
|
Follow MAIN STREET
across the railroad tracks, continue straight and ascend the
steep hill |
|
|
At the top of the
hill is LONG HILL ROAD |
|
|
Turn RIGHT on LONG
HILL ROAD, TRINITY HOUSE is on left |
