Where We Are
Driving Directions

While the Shrine of St. Joseph is in a restful, serene setting, we are easily reached from either I-78 or I-287.

From I-78:

Take I-78 to exit 40 (Gillette, Watchung, Plainfields). Take Rt. 531 north to Gillette (1 mile). At stop sign (there is also a blinking light) go straight 1/2 mile to traffic light. Go straight through on Rt. 638 north to Long Hill Road. Make a left and Shrine is a short distance on your right.

From I-80 to I-287 South:

I-287 South to exit 30A (North Maple Ave., Basking Ridge). You will exit right onto North Maple Ave. When road goes uphill, approx. 1.6 miles, bear to the left of small triangle. North Maple Ave. becomes South Maple Ave., then Basking Ridge Road. At blinking light, bear slight left onto Long Hill Road. You are basically staying on one road all the way from I-287(just under 7 miles) --make no direct left or right turns, but always bear left. The Shrine of St. Joseph is on the left side of Long Hill Road, in Stirling.
